Christmas is coming and this year Manchester United will be doing the secret Santa, I'm sure most of us have done that and most of the time draw the hardest person to find something for.
You would have thought that the amount of money Manchester United players earn that they will be expensive presents, this is not the case.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said that presents should be around the five pound mark, even I could manage more than that and I am not a rich, famous Premier League footballer but there are reasons.
An insider said:
“Alex didn’t want the lads openly flaunting their wealth this Christmas, with most families struggling.
“So spending as little as a fiver will go down well. A few players already have their thinking caps on about what might be appropriate and raise a giggle.”
Any ideas on what they will get each other?
